Abstract

The journal server was upgraded in February 2026 to provide better website performance.
  1. The new simplified homepage URL is www.cjhe-rces.ca/
  2. The old homepage URL https://journals.sfu.ca/cjhe/index.php/cjhe will soon be deactivated.
Please update any bookmarks you may have saved.    The server upgrade also resulted in a change in the URL to our articles and issues. If you have bookmarked any CJHE URLs that contain "journals.sfu.ca", please update the bookmarked URL by either:
  1. Go to www.cjhe-rces.ca/ and then navigate to the article, then re-save the URL or
  2. Manually update the URL. For example, change the old URL: https://journals.sfu.ca/cjhe/index.php/cjhe/article/view/190745/186753 to the new URL: https://cjhe-rces.ca/index.php/cjhe/article/view/190745/186753
If you have any problems accessing the website, please email cjhe-rces@csshe-scees.ca. Thank you for your ongoing interest in the Canadian Journal of Higher Education
