Sans distinction de sexe? Les carrières universitaires en sciences mathématiques
Abstract
This article presents the main results of a survey of the faculty members of mathematics departments, and some related departments, in all Canadian universities. The aim of the survey was to compare women and men faculty members with regard to their social backgrounds, family status, education, careers, professional difficulties they may have encountered related to sex and attitudes towards employment equity programmes.
